Day 4 at BKK!

I know this came really, really, extremely late, and I was on the verge of not updating my last day at BKK but I was being asked to, so here I am!

Hmm.. We did not do much on the last day here because our bus was at 4pm, so we decided to spend our entire morning at the Platinum mall, where we’ve had neglected for the past couple of days. Still rather bummed that I didn’t visit Thong Lor, where all the nice cafes are, but guess what, I should be going back to BKK when December comes!

We had our breakfast at McD! Their food there was not much different from SG’s, except for the fact that they had pork burgers. Oh! They have Horlicks crush, instead of Milo, which tasted 10x better, and they had dips like Cheese, Italian something and I don’t know what, but all of which did not taste good, trust me.

And of course, me being me, I had the DOUBLE SAUSAGE McMuffin with Egg! I never knew Singapore had this before, but YUM. Super awesome.

Had our lunch at the Platinum mall, and I had my first ever Mango Sticky Rice! It tasted not too awful, but I wasn’t exactly impressed and crazy over it like many of my friends. I thought it was just okay, but the rice… It’s rice, and I really don’t like rice. Hahaha!

And after we went for our daily massage, my parents decided to have ice cream again! Yes, each of us had one to ourselves, and I’m gonna miss these cheap but really good ice creams.

Pardon the lousy picture quality, wasn’t really bothered to take good pictures cause I was fat and grumpy then. Hehe! Anyway, I’m so glad to be home! One week back at home, and I’m still fat and unfit. So I’m very sad. BUT I’M REALLY UNFIT, OH GOSH. I’ve never panted so hard in training before, but now I have. It’s horrible.

Hehe! My internship is starting in about 5 days time and well, I’m a little excited but this also means that my workouts would be a little messed up, my routines would be disrupted and most of all, my time with Benny would be almost never. I’m working till 4.30 pm everyday, with trainings on 1, 3, 5, and tuitions on 2, 4 evenings. My saturdays are packed with 2 back-to-back tuitions from 10-12 and 3-5. And this is gonna be my life for the next 5-6 months at least, looks like I ain’t too happy about the 9 month holiday any more…

I know this place is becoming a little stagnant cause I am too lazy to blog about my food & workouts these days, so to make things a little more challenging for myself, I’m gonna give myself monthly challenges and I’ll post my progress and results here. Since the month of June is ending, let us start with something, which I THINK it’s easy, holding a crow pose for >5s. I’ve been doing it for almost a week now, not exactly religiously, but I’ve been spending maybe 3-5 minutes on it everyday, and the longest I’ve held is about 2-3s. It’s depressing. So, by the end of this month, I’ll post a video of me holding this for >5s (or maybe forever), I HOPE. So, yes, I’ll start spending more time working on this everyday from now till the 30th of June.

& I definitely know what to do for the month of July. I’m gonna do a pull-up, and I WILL, because, I’ve been procrastinating and putting it off since FOREVER. Since I’ve explicitly stated it here, it means… I really have to do it. So… yeah, stay tuned! 😀

  • Woes of a Food Blogger – a rant... I wanted to do a review initially, but I’ve been really peeved about comments I’ve received from people I know/don’t know, basically everyone, who assumes that being a food instagrammer/blogger is damn shiok, because we get to eat free food all the time. Hence, the following post. First and very foremost, I would LOVE to clear [...]
  • Life of ExplodedKnee: 10 Weeks On. Today, I teared while attempting my first Leg Day in the gym. Yes, I’m a crybaby and a loser. I was just feeling really amazed by the fact that how quickly I’ve progressed since my langbei post-op days 10 weeks ago, when even breathing hurt. [...]
