I love the smell of truffle. I love the taste of truffle. I want to bathe in truffle oil everyday. Okay no. Yucks. HAHA, but seriously, MOST of us get really excited when we read Truffle <something>. “Most of us”, because I know of people who shun away at the slightest tinge of truffle. Those weirdos. HAHA I KID. I love you guys all the same!
We all know that truffle dishes can get ridiculously pricey, so to ease our pockets a little, here’s a list of truffle dishes you can get in Singapore for less than just $20 (and some even below $10!!)!!! You’ll be surprised!
1. Truffle Fries ($8 – $12~)
The first dish that probably introduced most of us to truffle. It has always been a must-order dish for my friends and I at any cafe, but so far, none of them beats the one I had at SPRMRKT! It may be priced a little higher than average at $12, but the quantity and quality of the fries really blew me away! I hope they are still as good though! SQUEALS.

This was definitely one of the best appetizers I’ve had. Truffle potato mousseline, macadamia nuts and brown butter, with a 64 degree egg. Wow. Extremely appetizing, and comforting.

I’ve my fair share of Truffle Mac and Cheese, such as that from PARK and Les Patisserie. Since this is an affordable truffle dishes guide, I should introduce the cheapest Mac and Cheese I’ve ever had, without any compromise in its quality – Ah Bong’s Italian! Just $6 for this bowl of Mac and Cheese, it would definitely satisfy any truffle cravings you have! Remember to check their menu for the day before heading down!

How can?! SO genius this one. Hahaha! TRUFFLE MAC AND CHEESE within the waffle. At just $11.50, this one is definitely a steal. That strong truffle aroma and taste that makes you go right into truffle heaven. Montana brew bar is a place to get your fix for almost everything delicious!

Truffle pasta is a pretty common item on the menu these days, and I’ve had amazing renditions from it such as the one from On The Table, while this one from 23 Jumpin tops the charts for me, for its generous portions of truffle oil, and at a very affordable price of just $15. Pretty crazy huh!
The Commerce @ Irving, #01-25, 1 Irving Place, Singapore 369546
In the foreground of this picture, is Crown’s very own loaf of truffle and mushroom bread. The price may be a little hefty, but trust me, this loaf was definitely a delight. It’s difficult to go wrong with truffle and mushroom eh?

Having truffle in wanton noodles is definitely bringing the definition of comfort food to another level for me. Wow. Just wow. This is a secret item on their menu, so be sure to check out my post on Bee Kee, to find out how you can order this plate of goodness from them!

Probably the most affordable beef item I’ve had as well. This bowl of truffle beef don SET costs only $14.80+! Extremely affordable, however, I thought it did not taste as good as it looks. I was pretty disappointed by this dish, despite some raving reviews on Instagram! Try it for yourselves!
