Oh you mean we no longer have to head to ulu grandstand for our seafood fix from Dancing Crab?!
YES! If you didn’t know already, Dancing Crab has an outlet at Orchard Central, level 7! I heard they are opening one up in Vivo city too! đ Alright, now let’s get our hands dirty with seafood!

The Food
When at Dancing Crab, let’s get down and dirty with our hands! Of course, we would first go for the Combo Bag ($88)!
This bag consists of 1 Sri Lankan Crab, 300g prawns, 250g clams, potatoes, corn and sausages! I wish I could have more sausages though, they were SO addictive. The seafood were of course, really fresh too! You have 4 choices for the sauces: Dancing Crab Signature, Spicy Miso Butter, Beurre Blanc and Zesty Garlic Butter! Yum! Loved the spicy dancing crab signature!
Their menu do also feature snacks that most of the other similar concept seafood places do not exactly offer! From which, we selected the Crab Cakes, Lobster Roll and the Chicken and Waffles (ONLY AVAILABLE ON LUNCH MENU)!
Chicken and Waffles ($15) – Only during LUNCH
Being a place that specializes in seafood, Dancing Crab did a pretty good job on their Fried Chicken! Although the waffles fell short of our expectations, as it was a little limp and tasteless on its own. However, the combination of both the waffle and fried chicken, together with the maple syrup and cheese grits was GREAT. Even better than some cafes, and CHEAPER than them with that generous quantity too!
This would be a great dish to share, because I bet you’d gain like 1kg after eating this all on your own! HEHE!
Crab Cakes $18.50
These were made of ACTUAL crab meat generously stuffed within the battered exterior. I nearly didn’t want to share it because the crab meat was so fresh and flavorful. I could just eat it on its own!
Hmm.. Honestly, after having a couple of lobster rolls in Singapore, this one fell short of my expectations. Too little lobster chunks as the remaining of the bread below the topping was almost empty, and the bread lack of the buttery flavors. Go for their other seafood dishes that are more value for money and generous!
Dancing crab also serves many variations of their signature lemonades, like Pink Thyme and Key Lime Pie, etc. Do remember to grab a lemonade with your meals for the refreshing cleanse of your palette!Â
