REMEMBER THE GREEN PEA COOKIES I WAS RAVING ABOUT PREVIOUSLY?
Yes, PEATER is his name, and he found a new friend – Dimpea. DIMPEA is basically Peater dipped with vegan dark chocolate. Woah. Now… That’s intense. Haha! When I first tried Dimpea at a pop-up previously, I KNEW I had to get myself boxes and boxes of these when they finally launch it in Singapore. These Dimpeas are a crazy hit in their U.S. market, they’re flying off the shelves!
Let’s have a look at the Peater who has just fell into a cauldron of dark chocolate.

If you love Peater, i.e. GREEN PEA COOKIES, and you love chocolate, this one is for you. You can now have the best of both worlds, but I don’t think I’m able to say that this is a “healthy” snack. It’s chocolate after all. Maybe it’s good because it’s VEGAN!
I really love how the chocolate cracks apart and exposes the lovely pea cookie within, just like this:
AMAZING ISN’T IT.
It’s absolutely delicious. However, a down side to Dimpea is that the chocolate can’t seem to hold up too well in our humid weather and it melts really easily, causing the cookies to stick together. The above picture was taken after they are kinda freshly baked and hand delivered by the Green Pea Team (Thanks Marzy!). It was so good I actually bought 2 more boxes. Each box costs $14 and you can only find them at pop-up stores! Follow them on instagram (@greenpeacookie) to find out where they will be having their pop ups!Not gonna hide, but this might be the reality for you if you were to buy Dimpea back home from the stores! The chocolates are not able to hold up too well, and they stick together a little too much. I’d call that.. SePEAration Anxiety. Don’t worry, it’s still really good even though they are not evenly coated due to the melting and sticking. REALLY. TRUST ME.
And here’s one more reason you should really get your hands on Dimpea while you can BECAUSE..
Green Pea Cookie would be ceasing their operations in Singapore temporarily from the end of April as they are looking to relook at their production processes and to work on improving their already awesome customer experience! This means that their online sales from here would stop at the end of this month!
BUT, the good thing is, you can still find the pea family – Peater, Penelopea and SeSaPea at NAIISE stores islandwide till they run out (NO DIMPEA CAUSE WILL MELT), and they may also have several pop up stores here and there so you got to follow their instagram page to find out more!
While they take a break from 30th April, you can rush to get your hands on these amazing cookies at the various NAIISE stores:
Jurong East MRT: NAIISE @ Westgate
Clarke Quay MRT: NAIISE @ The Central
Somerset MRT: NAIISE @ Orchard Gateway
Paya Lebar/Eunos MRT: NAIISE @ 112 Katong
Don’t say never warn you, WHILE STOCKS LAST. And if any of you are keen on getting Dimpea, do leave a comment or DM me through my instagram (@explodingbelly) or facebook page (explodingbelly) for more details!
Dimpea! Just read your post. Am I still in time for this?
