Pompompurin Cafe Arrives in Singapore!

ED-1

OMG GUYS. I’m shaking while writing about this because this is SO FREAKING ADORABLE. SO. SO. ADORABLE. I cannot. Hailing from Japan, of course, this sanrio-themed character cafe is the FIRST ever sanrio cafe we have here in Singapore (Oh you bet I can’t wait for the Hello Kitty one as well)! Read on to find out more about what to expect and what they are offering!

What to expect from this cafe? A LOT.

POMPOMPURIN themed everything, from food, beverages, merchandise, wallpapers, cutleries, blah and you even get to enjoy authentic Japanese service here in the cafe! As every POMPOMPURIN cafe takes on a different theme, which keeps them unique and relevant, this outlet in Singapore takes on the “Garden City” theme.

We still don’t have the pictures of its interior yet, BUT all we know is that there will definitely be the signature POMPOMPURIN gate, followed by the Purin and friends tree! Something like this!

I cannot. *Hyperventilates*

I heard they even have specially themed 4-seater booths featuring each of Purin’s friends! Please make sure your cameras are working and phones are charged before coming in here, because YOU WILL BE SNAPPING AWAY.

The Menu

On the menu, they will have a variety of mains, set meals, desserts and beverages, ALL incorporating POMPOMPURIN’s face. The best part? Almost one-third of the ingredients are directly imported from Japan, now now, it’s almost quite the authentic experience without heading to Japan isn’t it?

Purin's MUGAnd just like in Japan, with every order of those items on the menu with a POMPOMPURIN mug logo, you will get to take home a brand new POMPOMPURIN MUG for FREE! I’m crying. Don’t say I good things never share!

Okay, let’s get down to the menu!

Beverages

Besides their signature drinks (shown below), they also serve tea, coffee, juices ranging from $5.99 to $6.99!

This is the Mexico inspired dish – Taco Rice in a Cup of Friendship ($19.99)  WD-01 Featuring his best friend, Muffin the hamster! I cannot. It’s so cute. The rice so nicely molded. I CANNOT.

If Mexican ain’t your thing, you can get their classic Japanese rice in Coconut Milk Chicken Curry ($17.99) or in the form of a Beef Stroganoff ($18.99) – Shown below!WD-03

Craving for something sweet? They have a range of pancakes bound to make your eyes glow in delight. Because I know mine did.

Besides the Pancake Tower ($21.99) which comes with the free cup by the way, they also have this super cute looking Banana and Caramel Pancake ($16.99)!WD-02 I want to squish the face.

If pancakes are too filling, you could go for their range of parfaits ($19.99) or puddings ($9.99)! All equally adorable!

You could also get their merchandise, ranging from $2.99 (for a pen) to $39.99 (for a pillow plush)!

Excited? Wait… I know I seemed to have left out the most important piece of information. WHERE IS THIS CAFE LOCATED AT AND WHEN ARE THEY OPENED? Logo-01They would be located on Level 4 of Orchard Central, and officially opens on the 18th April (Monday)! I CANNOT WAIT. The actual review of how the food tastes like, pictures of them and its interior would be up really soon once we’ve tried them! Stay tuned!
