I don’t know about you but I absolutely love the feeling of walking through the throngs of queue formed outside a cafe or restaurant, and simply saying, oh I got a reservation. That makes me feel like a VIP all the time, especially with people shooting me looks of envy or annoyance. Well.. I choose to think it’s looks of envy lah. HAHA!
I guess that is also one of the best ways to impress your first date or even, your friends for a gathering. The downside of getting a reservation could be:
- You got phone phobia. Damn awkward to call and book. Or does this just apply to me?
- The freaking cafe or restaurant doesn’t pick up the phone
- They might not be opened when you got feel to reserve a seat
- You’re just lazy.
Now, with the Chope you get to make your reservations any time, any where – locally or INTERNATIONALLY (Hong Kong, Shanghai, Beijing, Bali, Jakarta and Bangkok!), and you can save the hassle of searching for the contact online and dealing with all that anxiety from calling up the cafe/restaurant! The best part for me? When I run out of ideas, I can even scroll through Chope to find out about places I’ve never heard before and explore my options! Well.. Who doesn’t like having more dining options?
Did you know? Every month, Chope curates a list of restaurants where you can book using a specific link and ENJOY $10 off at these places when you pay with a Visa card – #chopewithvisa campaign!

You know how expensive weekend brunches can get… AND HOW Atlas gets SUPER PACKED at like 11am on weekends. SUPER ANNOYING? Helmed by the same people behind Assembly Coffee, it’s no wonder why they are SUPER popular but you can now skip the queues and crazy crowds! Don’t say I bojio! My favorite has got to be this plate of goodness – scrambled eggs and CREAMY mushrooms. Oh my. SO INSTAGRAMMABLE. SO GOOD. I LOVE MUSHROOMS.

Yet another one of those 5eva crowded cafes. While Populus is best known for their uhhh.. Populus scramble, it’s definitely not the only thing that’s good on their menu.
They have incredibly tasty pastas, brunches and rice bowls too, and that itself warrants a return visit again, and again, and…. Again. You definitely need to skip the queues when you are intending to visit them. Thank goodness they are on this list in October!

Old is gold. Symmetry has been around in the cafe scene since…. 3.. 4? Years ago. I don’t know, but seriously, still one of my favorite places to go for brunch and dinners. And I guess I’m not the only one who’s crazy about their food judging from their lunch and dinner crowds. Good coffee..
